MAJORS’ music is a high-energy blend of modern rock rooted in classic 2000s punk, with lyrics featuring wide-ranging golf themed storytelling - yes, that’s right. Known as "The #1 Band in Golf," MAJORS has carved out a niche as irreverent as it is catchy, proving that punk rock can be about anything, even the highbrow domain of the country club.
MAJORS' first EP “Songs in the Key of Golf” (2024) was created as a proving ground for the concept, and accumulated a swell of support in Canada, the US and Latin America.
In 2025 and early 2026 the band released 5 singles (Etiquette, Thinkin’bout, G.H.T.O., Propagolfi and Bullet on a String) as teasers of what’s to come in the next revolution. Including a vivid music video for “Etiquette”, Directed by Juno video award winner Peter Schnobb. After playing a limited show run in Ontario and Quebec in November 2025, MAJORS returned to the studio to cement what will be their step-out offering to the golf-rock world.
“MAJORS” the self-titled full-length is slated for release to global streaming services on May 14th 2026. But for fans who are keen to get their hands on the album before then, the band is making the full album available for sale on bandcamp.com one week early on May 7th. This advance release also comes with a bonus track which will be exclusive to the bandcamp.com release and not made available anywhere else.
The self-titled album is mixed and mastered by Dean Hadjichristou. Known for his work on major releases from acts like Parkway Drive, Four Year Strong, Protest the Hero, and We Were Sharks.
The album also features appearances from We Were Sharks’ Randy Frobel on “Propagolfi”, and Protest the Hero Guitarist Ben Davis who speedruns a solo in Hell Day.
In support of their album release, MAJORS will be playing with Strung Out and Belvedere on May 10th at Ottawa’s Overflow Brewing Co. Look out for more appearances to be announced in the coming months.
